Role of FCM: Design consultants for the heating system, project management and contract administration

Project Description: Grey Court School is an upper school providing education for around 1000 students. Following a number of failures due to heating mains corrosion in parts of the school dating back to 1955, FCM were appointed to design the replacement heating system for these areas. The contract was let in May 2012 and was completed over the summer holidays with a small portion of the work being completed in the autumn half term.

FCM also undertook the project management and contract administrator role, which resulted in a successful project outcome for the client.
