Project Description: On a site at the edge of St James’s, this high quality mixed-use scheme makes a positive contribution to the urban grain, providing an appropriate response to the local context with new pedestrian routes, open spaces and retail opportunities. Developed as three separate buildings, the existing tower has been refurbished as high quality apartments with offices on the lower four floors and retail on the ground, whilst the podium has been replaced with new offices and a roof garden with a further office designed to compliment the adjacent listed Albert Tavern.
The development offers a total of 55,389 sq ft of Grade A office space within the 240,000 sq ft recently completed mixed-use scheme. One and Two Buckingham Green provides 64 luxury 1, 2, 3 and 4-bed apartments available to rent and four floors of prime Grade A office space. Three Buckingham Green will provide 33,000 sq ft of unique prime Grade A office space. The new building will be 80% more energy efficient. Four Buckingham Green will comprise two bespoke 2,500 sq ft floors of modern studio offices alongside 12,000 sq ft of new A1 and A3 retail space across the scheme forming an entirely re-landscaped quarter.
